Jason Stewart is a Research Scientist at the University of New Mexico. His research centers on the design and characterization of communication abstractions that provide an intermediate layer between application code and the underlying Message Passing Interface (MPI). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin (2020) and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico (2024). Prior to his graduate studies, he worked in surface water engineering before transitioning to computational research.
